Days 15 – 20
Day 16: 2 weeks + 1 day old
If we call their day of birth day one, this is day 16, June 22, 2017. Mr. Green leads with most eye showing at this stage (this has no particular meaning or impact on anything long term). A few photos, just for fun! Tiny is missing as a “solo shot”, for no other reason than I somehow missed her while I was holding the camera. Next time!
Day 18: 2 weeks + 3 days old
day 19: 2 weeks + 4 days old
June 25, 2017. It’s day 19; puppies are two weeks & four days old today (consider day of birth as day 1).
It was the first time the puppies exhibited using their mouths in play. Prior to this, they did a lot of leaning and pushing, most often in a circular pattern, with each head over the other’s back. Also today, they were walking significantly better than yesterday.
Yesterday, we heard the first “bark”. Enjoy this video, with our thanks to Ben Sound for the music.
